David Leveridge

David Leveridge has taught music in Essex for 40 years. He trained at Trinity college of Music London and the Institute of Education, University of London. He subsequently taught at Chelmer Valley High School before taking up the post of head of Creative Arts at Alec Hunter School in Braintree and finally moving to Colchester Royal Grammar School as Head of Music for eleven  years.

David has also been musical director / accompanist for several local operatic groups and choral societies and has adjudicated for school and college competitions. He teaches piano and also enjoys working with staff and pupils in primary schools, encouraging younger children to sing and create music. Recently, he has enjoyed putting his musical skill to use when invited to be cameraman for a number of international music concerts.
